A beautiful spot to walk and enjoy nice views. Along the way, you see a lot of posters with info from the past. Very interesting.

Beautiful spot to walk and enjoy the afternoon of boats, planes, animals and people on the walkway.

First visit to Nanaimo with my family friends and during our visit we spend most of the time at Barbour walkway along the parks. There is excellent kids parks,restaurant, food truck. Park has Nanaimo Sign Where take pictures for memories.Free parking & washroom available at the park entrance

Went for a evening walk. Beautiful night. Was not harassed by locals lol. Great walk :)

Harbourfront Walkway is always interesting place. In hot days buy very tasty Ice cream, seatOn the bench and watch Fisherman's boats

This is one of the best harbourfront walkways on Vancouver Island. It starts near the Nanaimo Departure Bay Ferry Terminal and the ‘Beefeater’s Chop House and Grill’ restaurant and stretches almost 5 kilometres up to the Vancouver Island Military Museum near the Gabriola Island Ferry Terminal, with a few short breaks in between. There are splendid views of the harbour front with marinas, seaplane bases, yacht clubs, restaurants, pubs and coffee shops along the way. We had a very interesting evening walk here in Nanaimo before going to the Zougla Restaurant, at the end of Brechin Road, for dinner.

Scenic waterfront … good for walking and getting some food, snacks on the way.
