Our family visited this park on Jul 4 and did a hike to cap-Gaspé trail. It is an 8km hike with elevation. It's absolutely worth the effort! Mesmerizing views of water, mountains, and trees. Picture can not depict the actual beauty of the view.In the end, when we reached Le bout du monde (Light tower), we were able to see whale in the middle of Ocean and seals at the shore. That was quite a view!

Breathtaking views! Definitely a must visit national park if you are in the region! Amazing stunning huge coastal cliffs! A lot of potential wildlife encounters! We also got to see seals in the water from on top! The trail “Bout du Monde” or “Land’s End” is a must do!

First, let me state that the park is absolutely fantastic; breathtaking scenery, fantastic trails, etc. However, when we were there, early, June 2023, although the park was open, there was NO available, drinking water. The staff person mentioned that they had not got around to testing the water yet to make sure it was clean. HARD TO believe. We bought some firewood, but it was so full of knots. It was almost impossible to cut with a small hatchet. Other national parks provide better wood and fire starter so you don’t have to chop it into such small pieces.Final complaint – the showers run for less than 30 seconds, and then you have to hit the button again , totally, totally freaking annoying. Do they really think anybody can shower and 27 seconds hard to believe that this is one of Canada’s premier national parks – visitors must be laughing at us.But as mentioned at the beginning – the park itself is absolutely stellar and the staff, for overall, quite helpful. I put it down to bad for me management.

Nice easy hikes and views. Went there 2 days in a row. Unfortunately, first day was really foggy, but paths are well maintained and feel more like a nature walk than a hike.

Beautiful park! Stopped for a visit by chance as we were going through to Perce and we have a discovery pass already and we thoroughly enjoyed it! saw the other reviews about the wildlife but didn’t think we would actually see it ourselves but jokes on us, 10 minutes into our first hike, there was a mama bear and 2 Cubs eating a few feet off path. Never seen a bear up so close, felt pretty vulnerable. We decided to wait from a distance to see if they would move along but after about 15 minutes they hadn’t moved so we turned back. Decided to go do some other things in the park and come back later. We did the boardwalk on the south side, small fort beside it, and le chute waterfall hike, then came back to attempt the walk out to the eastern point again. Didn’t run into the bear family again but ran into some moose. Lots of friendly people warning us or what they were seeing on the way in. Stunning park overall with some great views! I only wish they had the bathrooms open. I feel like park service should be based on temperature and presence of snow rather than a set date. There were park employees all over. Why couldn’t the washroom be open.

Wonderful place to enjoy the outdoors, lovely place to see both the mountains/forest and the ocean/beach at the same time. Just bring your own food and drink. Not many offering at the park and they are hit and miss depending on the time of day/time of year.

Highly recommend it's ready to camp facilities and services, hassle free as everything you need for camping is provided, all you need is to bring your own sleeping bags.I enjoyed the most splendid night sky in my life saw so many stars, milky way is viewable to naked eyes and I even saw a shooting star, lucky me it is first ever in my life! Also recommend watching the sun-rise at the beach, pls do not miss the opportunity to hike all the way to the Land's end lookout!

The landscape is stunning and the day use pass is definitely worth the drive and money. The campsites were not comfortably or thoughtfully designed. Each site is stacked on top of one another, services and trash are not conveniently located, their services center has cheese and wine (for picnics) but no butter, oil, or eggs for campers— and it feels like a drive through park. Definitely bring your own portable water.
